If at any time you choose not to accept these terms of use, please do not use this site or any of our sites. By agreeing to these terms, you are also agreeing to the non exclusive licensing terms dictated below.

The copyrights in all text, images, screens, data, and other materials provided on the Girls in Power website, Members Area site (collectively, the “Materials”) are owned by Melinda Crown, Girls in Power, and GIP Foundation Inc. (the Charities) and/or by third parties. None of the Materials may be copied, reproduced, distributed, downloaded, displayed, or transmitted in any form or by any means without the prior written permission of the copyright owner. Unauthorized use of any Materials contained on this Site may violate copyright laws, trademark laws, the laws of privacy and publicity, and/or other regulations and statutes.
Restrictions
The contents of our Sites are protected by copyright and trademark laws, and are the property of their owners. Melinda Crown, Girls in Power, and GIP Foundation Inc. (the Charities) and all information on the Sites is copyrighted by The Girls in Power Inc. Unless otherwise noted, you may access and use the information and materials within the Sites for your personal use. You may not change, modify, delete, display, transmit, adapt, exploit, or copy for distribution or sale any information, material, trademark, or copyright on the Sites. You must obtain written permission from us or any other entity who owns intellectual property on the Sites before you may publish, distribute, display, or commercially exploit any material from the Sites. By using the Sites, you agree to abide by all copyright notices or other posted restrictions.
Licensing Agreement
The non-exclusive licensing agreement between “licensor,” Melinda Crown, Girls in Power, and GIP Foundation Inc. (the Charities) with the “licensee” will be for one year from the date of processed “one time” payment of $500.00. Let the product represented here be either the “GIP Essentials Girls Workbook, Empower Your Girl Program for Girls, GIP Moms and Daughters Programs, and Girls in Power Programs.” Licensee is not allowed to reproduce or pirate the product and sell it in turn to third parties. Licensee is allowed to reproduce (one) purchased non-exclusive licensed program within a controlled environment, such as within their “own” organization of a group of girls, for the period of one year, only, and after one year, the “licensee” will need to renew the non-exclusive license agreement for such product with Melinda Crown, Girls in Power, and GIP Foundation Inc. (the Charities). Licensee agrees to indemnify Melinda Crown, Girls in Power, and GIP Foundation Inc. (the Charities) and to undertake to hold Melinda Crown, Girls in Power, and GIP Foundation Inc. (the Charities) harmless of and from any and all costs and expenses (including but not limited to reasonable attorney fees), loss, claim, liability or obligation arising out of your use of the intellectual property rights granted hereunder during the term of this agreement and any breach by you, the “licensee,” of your representations or warranties, or obligations hereunder. If any claim or action is asserted or brought against Melinda Crown, Girls in Power, and GIP Foundation Inc. (the Charities) which is within the scope of any indemnity in favor of Melinda Crown, Girls in Power, and GIP Foundation Inc. (the Charities) hereunder, I will promptly notify you in writing. You, “the licensee” will promptly undertake the defense of that claim or action at your sole cost and expense, including the right to designate counsel, and to accept or reject settlement thereof. No such claim or action will be settled by you, “the licensee” without the written consent of Melinda Crown, Girls in Power, and GIP Foundation Inc. (the Charities), which consent will not be unreasonably withheld. During the term of the agreement, you, “the licensee” will not grant (or permit to be granted) to any person, firm or corporation the rights herein granted. This agreement and all rights under it, including its enforcement by litigation, will be governed by the laws of the State of California. Personal jurisdiction and venue for the conduct of any such litigation is hereby conferred exclusively upon the court having subject matter jurisdiction thereof and located in the County of Los Angeles, State of California. This agreement and all of its terms and conditions herein contained will be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the parties, their legal representatives, assigns and successors in interest. You, “the licensee” and me, “the licensor” acknowledge that this written agreement contains the entire agreement between you and me. No representations, promises, conditions or agreements with reference to the execution of this document have been made or entered into other than as herein expressly provided.
Disclaimers
The information, services, products, claims, seminar topics, and materials from Melinda Crown, Girls in Power, and GIP Foundation Inc. (the Charities) and on our Sites are provided “as is” and without warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied. We disclaim all warranties, expressed or implied, including but not limited to implied effectiveness of the ideas or success strategies listed on this site as well as those that are provided in our products or to our participants at our events. Neither we nor any of our respective licensors or suppliers warrant that any functions contained in the Sites will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Sites or the server that makes them available are free of viruses or other harmful components. Neither we nor any of our respective licensors or suppliers warrant or make any representations regarding the use or the results of the use of the services, products, information or materials in this site in terms of their correctness, accuracy, reliability, or otherwise. You (and not we or any of our respective licensors or suppliers) assume the entire cost of all necessary servicing, repair or correction to your system. Applicable law may not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so the above exclusion may not apply to you. Limitation of Liability

(the Charities) or services provided pursuant to the Sites, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Applicable law may not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability or incidental or consequential damages (including but not limited to lost data), so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. In no event shall the total liability to you by us or any of our licensors or suppliers for all damages, losses, and causes of action (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) exceed the amount paid by you to us, if any, for accessing the Sites.
Under no circumstances will we be held responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any loss or damage that is caused or alleged to have been caused to you in connection with your use of any advice, goods or services you receive from a guest speaker on our Sites or at one of our events.
We are also not responsible or liable for any loss or damage that is caused or alleged to have been caused to our guest speakers in connection with the display of their photo, name, or biography posted on our Sites or in our marketing materials.
No Professional Advice
The information contained in or made available through the Sites (including but not limited to information contained on message boards, in text files, or in chats) cannot replace or substitute for the services of trained professionals in any field, including, but not limited to, financial, medical, psychological, or legal matters. Confidentiality and Non-Compete
Users of our Sites hereby understand that the tools, processes, strategies, materials and information presented on our Sites are copyrighted and proprietary, so users agrees not to record, duplicate, distribute, teach or train from our information in any manner whatsoever without our express written permission. Any unauthorized use or distribution of our Sites proprietary concepts, materials, and intellectual property by you or your representatives is prohibited and Promoter will pursue legal action and full damages if these terms are violated in order to protect its rights. Only non-exclusive license agreements may teach and use the “GIP Essentials Girls Workbook, Empower Your Girl Program for Girls, GIP Moms and Daughters Programs, and Girls in Power Programs.”
